I have applied for new credit cards and have been denied all of the time. I understand that I need to have a good credit standing to be able to get a new credit line for a card, however, I have finished paying all my balances with all my previous credit cards. Anyway, proceeding to my story, I was able to chance upon a credit card company willing to give people who have a poor credit history a second chance in securing a card. This is one way also to prove the credit bureau that not all who are qualified as bad debtors are non payers at all. We were only under some financial distress.
Anyway, this is a rare opportunity presented to me so I grabbed it. If only to renew my credit history and make some positive notes for myself. Although the card company has various fees being charged for the card, it is justifiable because they are only securing themselves from the risk of not being paid by their cardholders. I totally understand it. They have given me the second chance I need, so why badmouth them for it, right? Remember, this card is given to those who have not proven themselves worthy of a regular credit card. Moving on, I know that in time I will be able to regain my previously flawless credit history and be eligible to the regular credit cards again.
