Beer Frenzy

Posted by admin

My first taste of beer was probably when I was around three years old. This was when my father, while drinking with his buddies, gave in to my constant whining due to curiosity and allowed me a little sip. It was bitter and I hated it. However, as I got older, the partiality to beer also grew in me. The taste of beer is suddenly associated with feelings of celebration and even defeat. For some people, beers are more than a way to have their alcohol fix. Fortunately for these enthusiasts, gone are the days where the choices of beer are limited to those marketed in their area. Connoisseurs joins monthly beer clubs wherein one of the perks is a monthly beer delivery package. What’s being delivered to them is not just your typical store-bought beer. Beer experts chooses the beer of the month — guaranteed to be unique, brewery-fresh and definitely tasty. Four different types of beers are delivered to the member’s preferred address and the choices vary from month to month. Another advantage of these beer of the month club is that when you happen to identify your favorite brand of beer, you can re-order it through the club and they can sell it to you for a discounted price. These clubs definitely make drinking the world’s most consumed alcohol a whole new experience.

The Value of Savings

Posted by admin

Saving a part of my monthly salary has already been a part of my habit, born out of the constant and relentless reminder that my parents has bestowed upon me. I remember that instead of giving me toys as a gift for my 12th birthday, my father gave me an Automated Teller Machine card – the key to my savings account. With that came a stern warning that he opened a savings account for me to add on the funds and not to withdraw it anytime that I want. As a young child, I did not fully understand the importance of having one of these savings accounts. But now, as a grown-up, I actually am very grateful that the value of saving has been instilled in me.
